About this product
The front wheels of the Triobike Taxi get a work-out, particularly if your route includes cambered roads and paths. All trikes' wheels are subject to forces and strains not experienced by two-wheeled bicycles and this is amplified by the heavy loads that a passenger trike carries. To get some idea of how much work your front wheels are doing, inspect the sides of the tyres for any uneven wearing. The more wear, the more sideways loads the wheel (and therefore its spokes and hub) is experiencing.
The bottom line is that you cannot expect these wheels to last forever without maintenance, such as trueing, tensioning and replacing spokes. And sooner or later you may need to replace the wheels themselves. It's hard to say how many km to expect as it will depend on your local terrain and usage and how often the wheels are serviced.
These are spare parts for the Triobike Taxi passenger rickshaw. You can view our entire collection of Triobike parts and accessories here.
