About this product
The much loved eZee Expedir family cargo bike is available for subscription on a monthly basis. The Expedir is recommended for use on sealed paths and roads. The bike will be supplied by default with a lock, 1 adult's helmet and a setup to carry up to two children on seat pads (cushions) with a basket for some general cargo (your bags). Note that if your children cumulatively are approaching your weight, you'll probably find it quite challenging to ride the bike, hence the test ride step below.
If any of the children are under 5, we will supply a child capsule seat for them as well at an additional cost. We can hire children's helmets for $10/month each.
While we always have an Expedir on the showroom floor for test rides, it usually takes a few days to set up a subscription expedir for you. The first step is book in your visit to test ride the Expedir to make sure it's right for you and to work out the setup required. After your test ride, we will work out a good day for you to come back and start the subscription. Book your first visit here.
Terms:
- User (customer) is responsible for pick up and drop off at our store at 29 East Street for initial handover and all maintenance needs (we aren't able to do pick ups and drop offs)
- eZee bike subscriptions are restricted to the Auckland area
- Automatic monthly payment to be set up at time of pick-up for each month in advance. Although technically the minimum obligation for rental is only 1 month, we reserve the right to refuse rentals in situations where there is no possible intention of continued e-bike usage (eg tourist hire).
- Regular maintenance is included in the cost but transport is not. For breakdowns, AA members can call AA and have the bike brought to us. Otherwise, you will need to be able to get the bike to us somehow (call a friend, rent a Cityhop van etc).
- Insurance: user (customer) is responsible for e-bike if stolen or crashed/damaged and will be liable for repairs, parts to the value of the selected insurance excess. Bike must be locked up when not in use and not left outside overnight for insurance to be valid.
Buyout:
- Up to two months of your subscription fees can be used towards the purchase of any e-bike in the store! Must be claimed within 1 month of finishing your subscription
