Smart Tag for Android (Google Find Hub) or iOS (Apple Find My)

A budget-friendly, unbranded smart tag that works with both the Google Find Hub and Apple Find My network.

 You can hide these on your e-bike and keep track of where your e-bike is via your mobile phone. Like airtags, these tags rely on the presence of other compatible phone users nearby to talk to the tag via bluetooth. Essentially the tag tells the other phone where it is and the phone tells Google/Apple and Google/Apple tells you. (Note: this tag can only be connected to either of the two apps - Google Find Hub or Apple Find My - atthe same time. It cannot be connected to both simultaneously.)

The tag cannot transmit any information other than through Bluetooth, so if your bike (and tag) are in a field in the middle of nowhere, it won't know where it is. This limitation is also a strength - as it doesn't transmit information autonomously, it has no phone SIM card and therefore has no ongoing costs (other than changing its battery from time to time).
