After the mountain bike flagship XTR has already set benchmarks and Deore XT and SLX have followed suit, the Deore M6100 now rounds off Shimano's 12-speed lineup. It is complemented by the components of the M5100 and M4100 series which will equip 11- and 10-speed drivetrains at the same high level.

Regarding the price, the current Shimano Deore groups are positioned in the entry-level range, but are not prepared to compromise in terms of performance, quality and reliability. Almost everything that the high end groups XTR, XT and SLX have to offer in terms of technology, innovation, performance and range of functions, you will find in the Deore components, too.

Shimano Deore RD-M4120-SGS Shadow RD rear derailleur

The Shimano Deore RD-M4120-SGS rear  derailleur is perfect for 2x10- as well as 2x11-speed MTB riding. Its low profile Shadow RD design avoids not only damage from rocks, but also improves shifting performance. The Top Normal rear derailleur accepts cassettes with a maximum range of 11 to 42 teeth. The guide and tension pulley of the long SGS cage feature 11 teeth each.
