Heavy-duty luggage carrier for quick assembly and disassembly

Anyone who wants to use their bike in a variety of ways, sometimes without a rack and sometimes with attachment options for bags and baskets, will be familiar with the problem of having a fixed rack on an otherwise clean bike.

The Quick-Rack XL from ORTLIEB definitely puts an end to tedious mounting and dismounting of the rack. Thanks to a combination of aluminum tubes with 10 and 12 mm diameters, the rack can easily carry up to 27 kilograms of luggage. Weighing just 700 grams, the touring rack can be mounted in just 15 seconds and dismounted in five seconds. Thanks to the quick release system, you can quickly switch from a sporty bike to a touring bike in no time at all.

With the optional Thru Axle M6 Connector accessory, mounting is also possible directly on the thru axle if there are no M5 or M6 mounting points on the frame. The Quick Rack XL offers attachment options for bags or baskets with the Top-Lock, QL 2.1 and QL 3.1 systems. The second attachment level also ensures that side panniers and a basket can be used at the same time. The rack can be universally adapted to the bike thanks to the different strut lengths and can even be used on full suspension bikes and carbon bikes. Three mudguards are available as optional accessories for different tire widths.
