About this product

The Shiimano BT-E6010 is one of the original batteries found on earlier Shimano powered e-bikes. If your bike is using this battery and you need a replacement, you are unlikely to find one.

The solution instead is to replace your battery mount and choose from more modern, higher capacity batteries:

1 - Replace the battery mount on your bike to the BM-E8016 down tube mount

2 - Choose either the Shimano BT-E8010 504Wh battery or the (taller) Shimano BT-E8016 630Wh battery.

For the above to work, there needs to be enough space to physically do so. There are unfortunately some cases where it's not easily done because the frame won't allow for the mounting of the BM-E8016 mount. For example, some early Avanti electric bike models had their frames shaped to semi-integrate the mount for the original BT-E6010 such that there wasn't a flat surface onto which the BM-E8016 mount could go. For example the Avanti Montari in the image below would not accept the new mount.

Original manufacturer description for the BT-E6010 is below for reference.
