About this product

This is the Bosch battery that sits inside a rear rack on the back of the bike. This format used to be quite common, but is not as widespread these days. They were most commonly used on step through e-bikes, but this has given way to using powertube batteries in step throughs in the main.

Common models and brands that used this format in New Zealand were early Riese and Mullers, early Moustache Lundi and Moustache xroad 1 open models.

Although originally many e-bikes were supplied with the 400Wh version of this battery, the 500Wh will still fit into your bike - it is the same dimensions. 400Wh is not available on the NZ market as a spare battery.
