PowerPack Frame
The PowerPack Frame models are usually installed on the outside of the frame, on the seat tube or downtube. They feature a carrying handle, so they are easy to remove and convenient to carry. In addition, frame batteries are close to the bike's centre of gravity: this has a positive effect on riding behaviour.
Because all PowerPack Frame variants for the smart system have the same mount, you can simply insert a different battery pack – provided the geometry of your eBike allows this. Specifically, the 725Wh battery is a little taller than the 545Wh battery, so you need about a couple cm of clearance above the 545Wh battery if you want to replace it with a 745Wh battery. Some bikes will allow this without a problem. Some will allow it but won't be able to use the same battery cover (eg Trek Verve +) and some won't allow it at all because there's a frame tube too close above.
Please note that due to the large number of ebikes being stolen, we have a policy of only supplying batteries and chargers to people with a valid proof of ownership for the bike.
