Riese and Muller Tinker

The Riese and Muller TInker is a triumph of e-bike design. A compact electric bike that feels stronger, safer and more fun to ride than most full sized e-bikes coming out of lower tier factories. And not only that – you can carry a lot on a Tinker too! The Tinker has an adjustable stem design allowing riders from 1.5m to 1.95m to fit comfortably. Equipped with the Bosch Performance Line from 2023 onwards, the Tinker is light weight, compact and has a low centre of gravity for a comfortable and fun ride. The generously sized and high quality tyres, excellent front suspension fork and suspension seatpost option make for a ride like no other 20″ electric bike out there. Like all Riese and Muller e-bikes, you have the option to customise your Tinker configuration and we can have it ‘made to order’ for you. From the R&M website Tinker listing you can navigate to your model options and individual configurations. We’ve made a video about configuring your R&M for more help.

The made to order option will take some time of course as first your Tinker has to be manufactured in the R&M factory in Germany and then shipped to New Zealand, generally by sea freight. The whole process can take about 5 months from confirming your order to picking up your Tinker from our shop in Auckland. If you’re outside Auckland, contact us for options. In most cases we can arrange assembly of your Tinker at a local bike shop.

An alternative to the ‘made to order’ option is to purchase a Tinker from our collection in stock in NZ or from a choice of Tinkers that have already shipped from the R&M factory and are on their way to us. Please refer to the Riese and Muller collection on our website for availability.
